information, please contact: Williams Scotsman Sponsors "Race To Fill Our Space" - A Food Drive To Benefit The Maryland Food Bank BALTIMORE, MD October 4, 2001 / In an effort to give back to a community which has given so much to them over the last 50 years, Williams Scotsman, Inc. will sponsor a food drive to benefit the Maryland Food Bank. The canned goods and other non-perishable items will be delivered to the Maryland Food Bank warehouse just in time for Thanksgiving Day 2001. Food
will be collected in a storage container in the front parking lot
of Williams Scotsman's Corporate Headquarters located at 8211 Town
Center Drive in White Marsh, directly across the street from the back
of The Avenue shopping center. The goal is to fill every square inch
of the container with food. Everyone and anyone willing to make a
donation is encouraged to stop by during the following dates and times:
A list of the most needed food items is included in this release. On November 13th all the items collected will be delivered to the Maryland Food Bank warehouse in Baltimore and from there will be distributed to 900 food pantries throughout the state. These pantries feed and distribute food to homeless and unemployed people, low-income individuals, children and families. - MOST
